Period Poverty:
A Global Crisis

Worldwide, approximately 500 million people who menstruate do not have access to hygienic menstrual products! In Germany, 17 million people menstruate regularly – 23% of them face financial difficulties when purchasing menstrual products, and 15% delay changing their products to save on costs. The high costs of these products, their lack of widespread free availability, and insufficient education are the root causes of resulting health issues and the reason for period poverty!

Bleedies: Free Period Products with a Purpose

Our products double as advertising tools for businesses, ensuring sustainable funding through ad revenue while creating a social impact. By partnering with companies, we turn hygiene products into marketing instruments, benefiting both sides.

Through direct collaboration with social and public institutions, we increase visibility, reduce infection risks, and raise awareness—helping to reshape the perception of menstruation.

Our goal: To make Germany (and the world?) a safe space for all who menstruate—one tampon at a time.
